Shiyui and Evan Call Will Appear at the Gundam Series Orchestra Concert “Next Universal Century” at the Osaka Kansai Expo!

Shiyui and Evan Call will appear at the Gundam Series Orchestra Concert “Next Universal Century” to be held on Sunday, July 20th at the 2025 World Expo, Japan (Osaka, Kansai Expo).

The Gundam Series Orchestra Concert "Next Universal Century" will use videos and music to trace the steps of the space age depicted through various Gundam series titles over the span of 45 years up until the latest GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION. The Osaka Symphony Orchestra's rich musical expressions and the diverse performances of guests will introduce visitors to a “New Universal Century.”

Performers include Takanori Nishikawa, who is well known for the theme songs of the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series, as well as Shiyui, who sang the ending theme for the first season of Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY. It will also include performances featuring guests such as Evan Call, who composed the music for the new GUNDAM: Next Universal Century video, which can be experienced inside the Gundam Pavilion. This concert focuses on Gundam theme songs, making it a musical experience that can only be enjoyed at this event.

To enter this event, you will need to apply for lottery reservations in addition to purchasing and reserving your admission ticket for the Osaka-Kansai Expo. The application period for the 2-month advance lottery was until Monday, May 19th, so be sure to check out details for the other entry methods.

The life in space that is commonly depicted in the GUNDAM series or the futuristic technology that is not developed yet is something the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION interprets as a possibility for the near future. The pavilion will provide new immersive videos and demonstrations with the pavilion space from phase 0 to 7. You can enjoy the experience of traveling from the Space Port located at Yumeshima, Osaka to the "Star Jaburo" station via the orbital elevator under the setting of the new Universal Century. In the world where humanity and mobile suits coexist together shown in the video, various mobile suits like the GUNDAM equipped with the G.L.R.S.S Feather UNIT and HARO with a new design make an appearance.

You will need to apply for a Pavilion Reservation (lottery) for the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION, which is separate from the admission ticket you apply and purchase to enter the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
