The METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Red Gundam is scheduled to go on sale in June 2025. It will be available for 24,200 JPY (tax included).
The “Red Gundam” from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is now available from the METAL ROBOT SPIRITS brand as an extravagant item that comes with armaments such as the Beam Rifle, Beam Sabers, a Gundam Shield, Hammer, and Bits.
This figure recreates the humanoid form of the Gundam designed by Ikuto Yamashita, and the joints have a wide range of articulation to enable flexible poses.
Die-cast parts are used abundantly around the hip joints to reproduce the joint structures seen in the setting illustrations while increasing durability. The shoulder mechanisms also incorporate die-cast metal parts and move in conjunction with the frame, allowing action poses where the MS holds a Beam Sabers with both of its hands. Pink blade parts can be attached to the two Beam Sabers equipped on the backpack, and the large Hammer has a chain made using metal parts, resulting in hefty, solid textures.
The Two Bits leave a striking presence have a total length of approximately 100 mm, and can be mounted on the shoulders or displayed in their deployed state using the dedicated base and display base sub-arms. The Gundam Shield can be equipped using the grip or by attaching it to the elbows or the backpack. The Beam Rifle has a movable sub-grip and sensor unit, and can be mounted onto the back of the waist.
