The new factory begins operations on Thursday, July 24th, with the aim of ensuring a more stable production line. The new factory not only handles the plastic molding process, but is also capable of boxing and shipping the finished products, improving production efficiency and speed. This is all enabled thanks to the incorporation of automated transportation equipment.
BANDAI SPIRITS has strengthened its plastic model kit production abilities through the expansion of the new Bandai Hobby Center building (started operations in December 2020) and with the cooperation of group companies and partner companies. By comprehensively utilizing these resources and the production capacity of the new factory, it is expected that the new factory will be able to increase overall production by approximately 35% (compared to fiscal 2023) when it begins full-scale operation in 2026.
