This summer, the big GUNDAM event “GUNDAM DOCKS AT HONG KONG” is back again!

Come to Times Square to see the world’s largest “MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM Char’s Counterattack” battle scene replica, featuring 6-meter tall RX-93 Nu Gundam VS MSN-04 Sazabi. Every night this fateful battle scene will light up as part of a light show spectacular.

BANDAI NAMCO ASIA CO., LTD. will launch limited edition items such as GUNDAM model kits that can only be purchased at this event. GUNDAM fans, don’t miss this opportunity! GUNDAM flagship store THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO will be coming as a POP-UP STORE, with many GUNDAM BASE limited items being prepared for GUNDAM fans to purchase.

With the new GUNDAM animation GUNDAM BUILD DIVERS now broadcasting in Hong Kong, colorful "Beargguy Land" is waiting for all of you.

And there will be free game area where all GUNDAM fans can enjoy trying the latest digital battle games in the Game Zone area.

RX-93 Nu GUNDAM vs. MSN-04 SAZABI GIANT STATUES

GUNDAM DOCKS AT HONG KONG III will showcase 2 huge 6-meter statues, RX-93 Nu Gundam and MSN-04 Sazabi. This year’s theme revolves around the fateful last mobile suit battle between GUNDAM’s most iconic and all-time favorite characters Amuro Ray and Char Aznable. Famous for the large scale statues, the giant statues at this year’s GUNDAM DOCKS AT HONG KONG have escalated to the next level.

Action Posing: For the first time ever, the 2 giant models will be displayed in close combat action pose.

Lighting: The mobile suits will have a luminated eyes to bring the giant models to life. The vernier thruster on the giant statues will emit a bluish white luminous glow to create a dynamic thrust effect.

Weathering: The giant models will feature weathering effect, a modelling technique to recreate realistic battle fatigue, following severe battle between the RX-93 Nu Gundam and MSN-04 Sazabi,

GUNDAM DOCKS AT HONG KONG III EVENING LIGHT SHOW

One of the major attractions of this event will be the evening light show.

Together with the lighting effects on the 2 giant statues, Times Square’s LED TV Wall will play a special animation video featuring famous GUNDAM scenes, specially edited for GUNDAM DOCKS AT HONG KONG III.

A full body experience, this light show spectacular features a synchronized display of video imagery, music and light.

GUNDAM BUILD DIVERS ZONE

A special corner dedicated to GUNDAM BUILD DIVERS is located at the covered piazza. The theme is “Beargguy Land” based on GUNDAM BUILD DIVERS Episode 8 "Festival!". This zone exhibits cute GUNDAM mascots including "Beargguy", "Petit'gguy", and "Haro". Immerse yourself in the colorful "Beargguy Land" themed zone, and take a rest from all the battles with many cute and adorable characters popular with all ages and genders.

GUNDAM GAME ZONE

The GUNDAM Game Zone is coming to Times Square! Play the newest PlayStation®4 release, "New GUNDAM BREAKER", and the team battle action game "GUNDAM VERSUS" in the home console corner or give the mobile game "MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM: Immediate Response Front" (Chinese title:《機動戰士高達 即時戰線》) a try on the giant smartphone!

The hugely popular GUNDAM shop in Japan, THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO, will come to Hong Kong for the first time as an event limited POP-UP STORE!
