The gamma-ray of GENESIS destroys the front line of the Alliance fleet in the blink of an eye. It was ZAFT’s trump card, hidden all along by Mirage Colloid. It could take aim and easily be fired at Earth.
Azrael hysterically blames the ineffectiveness of the Alliance military. But the shambled Alliance forces manages to regroup and they make a tragic but brave resolution to destroy GENESIS. But the fortress Jachin Due loom in front of GENESIS. In addition, GENESIS is equipped and protected with Phase Shift.
Kira and the group set out to the final battlefield to stop the war of mass slaughter. Kira and Lacus, Cagalli and Athrun, and Murrue and Mu…this might be their final farewells to each other. They each entrust their hearts to their other half.
