The Dominion attacks to destroy the Archangel. The Alliance’s three Gundams are overwhelmed by Kira and Athrun’s combination attacks that are perfectly in tune with each other. The Kusanagi is finally freed from the cable and able to join the fight. Natarle decides to temporarily withdraw at this disadvantage. The Archangel barely manages to escape the crisis.
Meanwhile, Mu and Dearka sense ZAFT is inside the colony, so they go to intercept. Rau appears on his new MS GuAIZ, and the fated confrontation with Mu begins. In the midst of the battle, Yzak is shocked to see Buster Gundam standing against him. Yzak is enraged and fiercely attacks the Buster Gundam, not knowing that Dearka is still the pilot. Buster Gundam flies around the shaft and dodges Yzak’s attacks. Dearka is unable to attack Duel Gundam and finally calls out to Yzak. Hearing his voice, Duel Gundam stops. They get out of their cockpits, and tension runs through the two men.
Inside Mendel, Rau and Mu engage in a desperate fight, and Rau’s GuAIZ is crashed by Freedom Gundam that came to assist Mu. Getting out, Rau disappears into an abandoned building. Kira and Mu chase after him. And a shocking fact awaits inside that building…
