The second ray of GENESIS destroys the Earth Alliance lunar base. The next target might be Earth. The Alliance regroup the devastated fleet, and launch the Peacemaker divisions once again. Their objective is to directly attack the PLANTs with nuclear missiles. Kira and the group fight hard between GENESIS and the Peacemaker squads. The M1 Astray Team is annihilated in a fierce fight. Mu is also hurt fighting against Rau. But Calamity Gundam and Forbidden Gundam are destroyed by Yzak and Dearka’s teamwork.
Around the same time, conflict arises within the Dominion between Azrael and Natarle. Azrael becomes reckless and fires his gun at Natarle who ordered the crew to abandon ship. Azrael then fires the Lohengrin at the Archangel. The Archangel is unable to avoid it in time. Then at the last moment, Mu, on Strike Gundam, absorbs the blast and protects the Archangel. Strike Gundam explodes. Losing Mu, Murrue screams in agony and shouts, “Lohengrin, fire!” And Natarle, who confined Azrael, also shouts, “Fire! Murrue Ramius!” The two women’s bleeding heart, who sacrificed their love ones, killed one of the ringleaders of the war, the leader of Blue Cosmos…
