In Orb waters, the Archangel and the 4 Gundams of Zala Team engage in a fierce battle. Near the Orb’s territorial boundaries, the Archangel is gradually cornered by the Zala Team with its superb combination attacks.
But when they approach Orb territorial waters, the ZAFT forces and the Archangel both receive contact from the Orb forces. Orb warns the Archangel to leave its waters.
Hearing this, Cagalli grabs the radio. She identifies herself to the Orb fleet as the daughter of Orb leader Uzumi Nara Athha, Cagalli Yula Athha. But Orb Commander Tayling is unfazed. And the Orb forces start to fire…but it was a diversionary tactic to rescue the Archangel. The Archangel is escorted to a secret base on an Island.
The Orb’s true purpose is to acquire Strike Gundam’s combat data. They offered to help repair the Archangel in exchange for military technologies.
In the meantime, the members of the Zala Team, not able to attack a sovereign country, sneak into Orb to locate the Archangel.
