The Freedom Gundam suddenly appeared in the battlefield. Then Aile Strike Rouge launches from the Archangel piloted by Cagalli. She identifies herself as the representative of Orb and demands the Orb forces to cease all hostilities and retreat. While everyone on the battlefield confused, Yuuna loses control of himself under the pressure from Neo, and forcibly resumed battle. He cannot afford to miss the chance to destroy the damaged Minerva. 3 Gundams of the Phantom Pain attack the Minerva, and Heine, Lunamaria, and Rey take off to intercept.
Kira delivers Cagalli to the Archangel, then starts to damage only the equipments of both ZAFT’s and the Alliance’s mobile suits one after another. Athrun attempts to call Kira, who is making everyone in the battlefield confused, but cannot break through the interference.
Stella’s Gaia Gundam is damaged and the right arm of Heine’s GOUF is cut off by Freedom Gundam. Stella, in rage, attacks Kira from behind when Heine gets in the way at the last second and she slashes the GOUF instead. Heine’s GOUF explodes…
Immediately after, the retreat signal is fired and the Phantom Pain withdraw, and Freedom Gundam and Archangel leave the battlefield as well. Athrun and Shin lost Heine. They gnash their teeth out of grief as they stare at the sight of the remains.
