This is a custom model of the ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System) Parka officially used by the American military in the 1980s. The design has been updated by changing the shoulders and elbows, shortening the length slightly, and narrowing the silhouette for a more modern, everyday look.
The design keeps the ECWCS Parka’s characteristic front tabs, the visored hood, the ventilation under the sleeves, and the ribbing around the waist to prevent cold air from penetrating inside. It uses TYPE 3LAYER materials for protection against the cold and wind and for waterproofing, so it is strong and functional.
The emblems on the left chest/right sleeve, and the embroidery on the hood reflect the world of Gundam. The jacket comes in two designs: the MAFTY Model in black with an accent of orange, and the E.F.F. Model in coyote brown with an accent of yellow. Both are perfect for everyday use and are even great for outdoor use.

The M-51PARKA, formally PARKA SHELL M-1951, is a military jacket masterpiece that has been beloved for over half a century since its birth in 1951. Commonly referred to as a mods coat or mods parka, it is believed to be a model adopted by the American military in 1951 as cold-weather clothing. Since it was primarily designed to be worn over equipment, it has a wide fit and large size.
The body is made of cotton and it comes with a detachable liner that can also be worn on its own. The front is designed with a double fly-front of snap buttons and a zipper to prevent wind and dust. Due to its unique shape on the back side, it is sometimes referred to as the “fishtail”.
The impressive emblem and tape embroidery on the right chest along with the emblem on the left sleeve reflect the world of Gundam. The coat comes in two designs: the ZEON FORCES Model in olive and the RED COMET Model in black. Both are perfect for everyday and outdoor use giving off a military vibe to your outfit.
