Pre-orders for a new flight jacket made through a collaboration with the military fashion brand ALPHA INDUSTRIES and STRICT-G, an apparel brand that incorporates the worldview of Gundam, will start at 1:00 PM (JST) on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
From Mobile Fighter G Gundam, celebrating its 30th anniversary, comes this leather MA-1 jacket inspired by the costume worn by Domon Kasshu in the series.
The MA-1 jacket on which this item is based features ALPHA-exclusive details such as a fly on the inside of the zipper for extra warmth and a cigarette pocket on the sleeve. The sizing has been changed for Japanese wear, resulting in a clean silhouette that is easy to style. The elegant material has just the right amount of luster, and it retains the best parts of a flight jacket while still being easily coordinated with a variety of outfits.
This model is based on the Mobile Fighter G Gundam Domon Kasshu Model released in 2022, with specifications changed to commemorate the 30th anniversary. It has a soft texture using high-quality sheep leather, and the emblem patch on the right sleeve is a monotone design that matches the color of the fabric. The dog tag with the G Gundam 30th anniversary logo is attached with a ribbon and the ALPHA INDUSTRIES brand name is a special specification only for this model.
