STRICT-G Miyata Orimono Mobile Suit Gundam Hantens and Long Hantens Going on Sale December 25th!

STRICT-G, an apparel shop that incorporates the world of Gundam, will release STRICT-G Miyata Orimono Mobile Suit Gundam hantens and long hantens tomorrow, Saturday, December 25th.

From STRICT-G JAPAN, a series which was created to develop, convey, and create a new sense of value in the charms of products made in Japan, come new hantens which were made in a collaboration between Mobile Suit Gundam and Miyata Orimono, which was founded in the 2nd year of the Taisho era.
These hanten belong to the “Japanese Modern Series,” a series which uses slightly modern materials, colors, and shapes. They have fitting shapes and cut sleeves, a redesign of the cotton-filled hanten which has been used for many years. It hugs your body and keeps you warm. The outer material is a fabric named “Nagomi” with a weft that is soft to the touch. Not only is the outer material woven at the Japanese company, but the act of inserting the cotton and binding is all done carefully by hand, one by one.
The lineup includes three types: the (Matsu) Gundam pattern, which has a design of the Gundam’s Last Shooting scene and matsu trees on the back; the (Take) Zaku II pattern, which has a design of the Zaku’s invasion and bamboo on the back; and the (Ume) Red Comet Pattern, which has Char Aznable with Mt. Fuji and Japanese plums on the back.
In addition, a longer hanten is available for those who like loose comfort.
