STRICT-GxNEW ERA Gundam Series Collaboration Caps Go on Sale on July 30th!
STRICT-G, the apparel shop that incorporates the world of Gundam, will release caps made by the headwear and apparel brand NEW ERA® in collaboration with the Gundam series.
There will be a lineup of six caps in total. From the 9THIRTY™ series, which is an adaptation of the 9TWENTY™ line that’s known for being soft and comfortable to wear, will be used for three types of caps using motifs from Mobile Suit Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 while the 9FIFTY™ line, known for having a classic silhouette that keeps its form, is used for three caps using motifs from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack and Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway.

The 9TWENTY series is known for having a front panel without a core so it stays soft and comfortable, and these caps are made with that characteristic while using the 9THIRTY body, which has a slightly deeper crown. It also is adjustable.
The E.F.S.F. and ZEON FORCES models have “E.F.S. FORCE” and “ZEON FORCES” on the front with their respective marks embroidered on the back. The Cyclops Team model is made with colors based on the jacket that Bernard Wiseman always wears. The front has an embroidered badge while the side features the NEW ERA logo in gold.

These caps use the 9FIFTY body which uses a distinctive core inside the front panel and has a classic silhouette that doesn’t lose its shape. This cap is an adjustable snapback.
The Amuro Ray and NEO ZEON models have Amuro Ray’s personal mark and the Neo Zeon mark embroidered on the front, while the back has U.C. 0093 E.F.S FORCE or RED COMET OF NEO ZEON embroidered on the back. It’s embroidered in the same color as the body, so these items are easy to wear with any everyday outfit.
The MAFTY model has the Mafty mark embroidered boldly on the visor in colors reminiscent of the Mafty jackets that appear in the movie.
