Three Types of STRICT-G JAPAN × Miyata Orimono Char’s Counterattack and Hathaway Cotton Hantens Going on Sale 12/17!

On Saturday, December 17th, STRICT-G—an apparel shop that incorporates the worldview of Gundam—will release three types of cotton hantens made in collaboration with Miyata Orimono, which was established in 1913. They will be 21,450 JPY (tax incl.) each.

From STRICT-G JAPAN, a series which was created to develop and convey the charms of products made in Japan and create a new sense of value, come cotton hantens made in collaboration with Miyata Orimono and Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack and Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway.
The Japanese Modern Series, which arranges materials, colors, and shapes into a modern style, features fitted cotton hanten models with slim sleeves that have been redesigned over many years. Recommended for those with a slim figure, these hantens hug your body and keep you warm. The outer material is made of “Shirane” wamomen fabric which has a soft texture and a delicate weave pattern made with white thread. The weaving of the outer fabric is done right at the company in Japan, and each hanten’s cotton is inserted and bound by hand.
Furthermore, the hantens feature Mobile Suits drawn on the backs with dynamic brush strokes. The lineup from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack includes the vGundam pattern in navy with a boldly designed vGundam equipped with funnels along with the word “Counterattack,” and the Sazabi pattern in red, which also has the word “Counterattack” along with the vGundam and Sazabi fighting in front of Axis.
From Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway there is a ΞGundam pattern in purple with the ΞGundam, the word “Flash,” and an image of a flash in the background.
