Leather MA-1 Jacket Made Through Collaboration with ALPHA INDUSTRIES Going on Sale 12/29 to Celebrate STRICT-G’s 10th Anniversary!

A specially designed leather MA-1 jacket from STRICT-G, an apparel shop that incorporates the world of Gundam, made in collaboration with ALPHA INDUSTRIES, is going on sale on Thursday, December 29th. It will cost 107,800 JPY (tax incl.).

This item is an MA-1 special model to celebrate STRICT-G’s 10th anniversary. Based on the image of Char Aznable from Mobile Suit Gundam, it first went on sale in 2014 and gathered great support from fans. It uses soft, high quality sheep leather.
The crest patch has been changed to a monotone color to match the color of the fabric, and an embroidered patch and ribbon have been added to commemorate the 10th anniversary. The dog tag with both STRICT-G and ALPHA INDUSTRIES’ names attached alongside the ribbon is unique to this model, and if you remove the patch on the left side of the chest, you can see that the model number of Char's Zaku MS-06S is hidden underneath.
The subtle, red lining is reversible and can be worn with the reverse side showing. The sizing has been revised to create a clean silhouette that easily looks good on any body type.
In addition, details have been incorporated that are unique to ALPHA INDUSTRIES, such as the winged tailoring on the inside of the zipper that prevents wind from entering and increases heat retention, as well as the cigarette pocket on the sleeve.
