The Life-sized vGundam Statue/Gundam Park Fukuoka 1st Anniversary Special Project is Starting 4/22 with New Footage Narrated by Ken Narita and the Chikappa Gundam Cinema Festival!

A special project to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the Life-sized vGundam Statue currently on display at Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Fukuoka and Gundam Park Fukuoka on the 4th floor of the same building will be starting Saturday, April 22nd.

The theme of the special 1st anniversary project is Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack.
During the event period, Gundam series will be shown at the Chikappa Gundam Cinema Festival which will be held at TOHO Cinemas LaLaport Fukuoka and new GUNPLA products will be sold at Gundam Park Fukuoka.
Also, a visual performance will be held on the wall of the facility starting on Saturday, April 29th, special content with narration from Ken Narita, the voice of Bright Noa, will be released, and various other special projects and campaigns will be held.

The Life-Sized νGundam Statue, the tallest life-sized Gundam statue in history reaching 24.8 meters at its highest point and the first Gundam statue in Western Japan, is currently welcoming many domestic and foreign tourists. One year has passed since it opened and it will continue to welcome many visitors during Golden Week as a new tourist spot in Fukuoka, the gateway to Asia.

Starting on Saturday, April 29th, special content with narration by Ken Narita, the voice of Bright Noa, that looks back on the story of Char Aznable and Amuro Ray, the hero of the Universal Century, will be released as a visual performance on the walls of LaLaport Fukuoka.

The Chikappa Gundam Cinema Festival will be held at TOHO Cinemas LaLaport Fukuoka starting on Saturday, April 22nd. Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack, which the vGundam appears in, and other Gundam series that take place in the Universal Century will be shown.
Also, those who attend the viewings will receive a RX-93ff vGundam clear file as a present and presenting your movie ticket stub will allow you to receive some discounts at Gundam Park Fukuoka, so don’t miss out.
