61st Shizuoka Hobby Show GUNPLA Photo Report: Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY & Gundam Color/Gundam Marker Version

The 61st Shizuoka Hobby Show, a major trade fair for plastic and other kinds of models, will be held the weekend of 5/13 and 5/14 at Twin Messe Shizuoka.*

Japanese world-famous model brands that make plastic models, railroad models, and RC models, etc. came together for this event, which is one of the largest model exhibitions in Japan where new trendy products of the year are announced and exhibited. Trader invitation days were held on Wednesday, 5/10, and Thursday, 5/11, and many new products were announced by each company.

At the BANDAI SPIRITS booth, many new GUNPLAs were exhibited, including the EG LAH Gundam appearing in Gundam Build Metaverse which will be streamed on the Gundam YouTube Channel in October, along with five other GUNPLAs from the series; the MGSD Gundam Barbatos from Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans; the RG Gundam Epyon from Mobile Suit Gundam W; and HG Gundam Lfrith Jiu from Vanadis Heart, an official spin-off comicalization of Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY.

Furthermore, the GSI Creos booth is exhibiting eight new colors from the Aqueous Gundam Color THE WITCH FROM MERCURY Series that will be released in May and June and two new colors of Gundam Marker EX Holo Markers. Nine new LINKL PLANET Colors will also appear.
