Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Has been Announced, and Main Cast Members and Staff were on Stage! An Anime Expo 2023 Photo Report
An international project spanning across Germany, America, Australia, and Japan!

North America's largest anime and manga festival Anime Expo 2023 (AX2023) was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in the United States for four days from Sunday, July 2nd to Wednesday, July 5th.
A Bandai Namco Group Booth was set up alongside a statue of Gundam Aerial, and the premier display of the HG Gundam Calibarn was revealed. Other GUNPLA, figures, cards, Ichiban Kuji, Gashapon, and various other items were also on display and sold. A THE GUNDAM BASE POP UP and GUNPLA workshop event were also held, which attracted many visitors.

A Bandai Namco Filmworks Industry talk session was also held during the event.
Titles such as Gundam Build Metaverse, the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM movie, and the live-action Mobile Suit Gundam movie were introduced during the Gundam series portion of the presentation.
Following this, it was announced that Bandai Namco Film Works and SAFEHOUSE were collaborating to produce a new original animated series called Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance using the Unreal Engine 5 3D production tool.
Wilbert Roget II, who is in charge of the music of this series, Gavin Hignight, who wrote the script, and Celia Massingham, who plays the main character, appeared on stage. The director was in Germany, the screenplay was written in the United States, Celia’s lines and music were recorded in Australia, and the motion capture and post-recording were done in Japan, making it an international project. During the video conference, production staff members shared behind-the-scenes stories unique to this international project, such as struggles when working with members in different time zones throughout Europe, Japan, and the United States.
Requiem for Vengeance will be a series with a total of six episodes (each approximately 30 minutes long) that will be streamed worldwide. It will take place at the European front during the One Year War, a conflict also depicted in the first Gundam series Mobile Suit Gundam.
