Original Drawings from Iron-Blooded Orphans and Storyboards from Build Divers Re:RISE! A Masami Obari Personal Exhibition BRAVE WORKS Photo Report

Anime director and mechanic designer Masami Obari’s solo exhibition: Masami Obari Personal Exhibition BRAVE WORKS took place on Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the Special Gallery on the 7th floor of Tenmaya Fukuyama store in Hiroshima Prefecture.

Mr. Obari has a unique drawing style when drawing robots which is often called “Obarism.” He is an anime creator born in the city of Hiroshima and has countless fans all over the world and keeps inspiring them to this day. This is his first personal exhibition in Japan.

Countless pieces of art, such as precious original drawings from Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans and storyboards from the opening sequence of Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE, were put on display at the exhibition and many fans came to thoroughly examine them.

Mr. Obari has also directed the new Gundam Build Divers: Battlogue animated short film, which is scheduled to be revealed on Friday, November 13th.
