Many New Items—Such as the FULL MECHANICS Gundam Aerial—Will Be Exhibited! Photo Report of GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -TOKYO BASE-: THE WITCH FROM MERCURY Edition

The TOKYO BASE portion of GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -BASE SERIES-, a special event which focuses on exhibits for Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY and can be enjoyed by all Gundam fans, began Thursday, September 29th, at the Sumitomo Building Sankaku Hiroba in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE is a huge event being held at locations across Japan to celebrate the broadcast of Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY and connect fans with the Gundam series.
At the last venue, TOKYO BASE, a life-sized head of the Gundam Aerial, the MS piloted by THE WITCH FROM MERCURY‘s protagonist Suletta Mercury, made from runners (the frames of plastic model kit parts) collected from fans was displayed for the first time ever. Also, the 2nd test of the traveling ROAD TO GUNPLA BATTLE Project, an event where guests can enjoy 3D images of their GUNPLA made with through 360° scans, was held. New items, such as GUNPLA from THE WITCH FROM MERCURY, were displayed for the first time ever, and limited edition items were available for purchase.
Furthermore, different special stages were held each day, bonuses were passed out at the venue, a lottery was held where guests could win an HG Gundam Aerial GUNPLA, and projects related to THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO were also held.
