THE GUNDAM BASE Pop-Up Experience recreates elements of THE GUNDAM BASE Tokyo and brings it directly to various anime events across North America. These Pop-Ups give a unique opportunity to buy exclusive and popular model kits, view and take pictures with giant Gundam statues and share other one-of-a-kind experiences with fellow Gundam fans. Take a look at a few events THE GUNDAM BASE has stopped by in 2022!

The first stop of THE GUNDAM BASE Pop-Up North America’s largest anime and manga festival - Anime Expo 2022 which was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in the United States. The Gundam Base featured exclusive GUNPLA and other types of merchandise for fans to buy.

In Anime NYC, we brought more excitement with the GUNDAM EXPO U.S.A. 2022, which brought multiple products seen exclusively at GUNDAM BASE and more! While not exactly a Gundam Base, Gundam Expo brought multiple products seen exclusively at Gundam Base. The GUNDAM EXPO U.S.A. 2022 booth featured Gundam Aerial and Wing Gundam in front of the booth allowing for excellent photo opportunities and THE GUNDAM BASE had over 120 model kits available for fans to purchase. Even popular model kits that have previously sold out! Anime NYC was also the official attempt to challenge the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title “Most People Assembling Plastic Robot Models Simultaneously (Multiple Venues)”!

In the last stop for 2022, THE GUNDAM BASE took a detour to Anime Frontier in Fort Worth, Texas bringing rare and exclusive kits and photo ops at the event. At the center of the booth was an epic statue of the RX-78-2 where fans could get a limited tote bag with certain purchases!

With 2023 starting, we’re hoping THE GUNDAM BASE travels to more events for Gundam fans to celebrate the Universal Century and beyond! Where would you want THE GUNDAM BASE to stop next?
