The Mechanic Designer Okawara Kunio Exhibition opens in Shiga on April 17th! Panels and signings are planned!

The works of mechanical designer Kunio Okawara, featured in Mobile Suit Gundam and many other series, will be on display in the “Mechanic Designer Okawara Kunio Exhibition” at the Sagawa Art Museum in Moriyama, Shiga.

Experience the four-decade breadth of Okawara’s works, from material for local civic organizations to avant-garde industrial design, in his own illustrations and production reference material. The exhibition will also include new works being shown in Japan for the first time.
An official shop will feature exclusive Gunpla and other merchandise.

Advance tickets are available at 7-Eleven locations across Japan beginning April 11th for ¥800 (adults) and ¥400 (high school students). Admission at the museum will be ¥1,000 for adults or ¥600 for high school students, with middle school students and younger admitted free when accompanied by a guardian.
