“TAMASHII NATIONS 2017”, a figure festival held by the Bandai Collectors’ Department, will finally be held from tomorrow, December 1st (Fri), for a total of three days in Akihabara, Tokyo.
The event will be held in Akihabara UDX and Bellesalle Akihabara in commemoration of the TAMASHII NATIONS brand’s 10th anniversary this year. Akihabara UDX will be themed “A Future One Step Ahead” and will hold exhibitions with a focus on products scheduled to be developed in the future. Bellesalle Akihabara will have “History” and “Now” as a theme and will hold an exhibition of products that retrace the brand’s 10-year history.
This will be a photo report of the private viewing that took place today, November 30th (Thurs), so definitely be sure to use this report as reference and participate in the event starting tomorrow.
■ FUTURE ZONE (Akihabara UDX 2F AKIBA SQUARE)
Several products that have never seen before will be on display at five booths – “ROBOT”, where many Gundam products are gathered, “Chogokin”, “MONSTER”, “FIGURE”, and “REAL SIZE -DISPLAY MODEL-” – in Akihabara UDX. The venue will be packed with the unveiling of the newest products and surprising new announcements.
■ CONTEMPORARY ZONE (Bellesalle Akihabara 1F/B1F)
A history exhibit retracing the creation of the brand to what it is today will be held at Bellesalle Akihabara. Approximately 200 products, chosen from approximately 4,000 products that have been sold by the brand until now, will be exhibited alongside product labels.

At the event, there will be “10 Large Major Projects” that commemorate the brand’s 10th anniversary as well as the sales of commemorative products for the event. Special stages inviting wonderful guests will also be held on each day, so don’t miss out.
