The 10th Anniversary Event Has Finally Arrived! The “Gundam 00 Festival 10 ‘Re:vision’” Flash Report

The reveal of an impactful story featuring a new suit and more through a live drama reading by the main cast!

 

Gundam 00Festival 10 ‘Re:vision’”, an event long-awaited by fans that commemorated the 10thanniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam 00, was finally held at Makuhari Event Hall in Chiba on April 14th(Sat).

 

The event gathered the main cast consisting of Mr. Mamoru Miyano, voice of Setsuna F. Seiei, Mr. Shinichiro Miki, voice of Lockon Stratos, Mr. Hiroyuki Yoshino, voice of Allelujah Haptism, Mr. Hiroshi Kamiya, voice of Tieria Erde, Mr. Yuichi Nakamura, voice of Graham Aker, and Mr. Miyu Irino, voice of Saji Crossroad, once more. The event was performed twice, once in the afternoon and once in the evening, and featured a live drama supervised by Director Seiji Mizushima and written by Mr. Yosuke Kuroda as well as an impactful live performance by THE BACK HORN.

A New Story Made With a Live Drama!

 

In the film, Setsuna had set off for the ELS’ home planet while the Celestial Being remained on Earth. However, an all-new story set after the film was spun together through a live drama reading that combined acting from the main cast, a live orchestra performance, and anime visuals.

And there is a new member in the Celestial Being!?

 

The audience held their breaths as they intently watched an impactful story being freshly told after 10 years have passed.

 

 

 

THE BACK HORN Sang 3 Songs Including “A Closed Door”!

 

THE BACK HORN, a band that sang numerous songs for Gundam 00, were featured in a live performance following the live drama.

 

They enthusiastically sang “A Closed Door”, the theme song of the film, “Alarm Bell”, the supporters’ song, and “Trap”, the first ending theme song of the first season, totaling three songs that have yet to grow dull even today. The audience grew immensely excited throughout the performance.

 

The event also had a variety of contents such as the screening of a special video that reflected on the progress of the past 10 years, video messages, and a talking portion with the cast, causing loud cheers to echo throughout the venue.

 

 

 

 

A Blu-ray and DVD of this event is set to be released on August 28th(Tues).
