The country's largest anime event "AnimeJapan 2019" was held March 23 (Sat) and 24 (Sun), 2019 at Tokyo Big Sight.

As the sixth anniversary of the event this year, the theme of "AnimeJapan 2019" is "ROCK", and has information about popular works and the latest anime, sale of goods, stage with voice actors and is the largest offering of content to date.

The "Bandai Namco Animation Airport Booth" presented by Sunrise, Bandai Namco Arts, Bandai Namco Pictures, Bandai Namco Entertainment, and Bandai Namco Rights Marketing and many other booths also appeared.

The Bandai Namco Group presented their image of an airport in the "Bandai Namco Animation Airport" booth. When you enter the booth, a special passport was distributed, and at each area of the booth an "entry" stamp was given. In the "Gundam Area", a pictures and chronology display of the "UC NexT 0100" panel was exhibited. Also, at the entrance of the area, an illustrated standee of Mineva Lao Zabi (Cabin Attendant Costume) was displayed.

At the BANDAI SPIRITS booth, there was a display of various items celebrating the 40th anniversary of "Mobile Suit Gundam". The Hobby Division presented collaborations with the "12 Professional Baseball Teams" and "UNIQLO", and the Collectors Division presented the new series "GUNDAM UNIVERSE" and the new item GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE. From the Apparel Division came a collaboration item with UNIQLO called "40th Anniversary Commemoration UT", and Megahouse presented "GGG Mobile Suit Z Gundam Quattro Bajeena" from their high quality figure series. The newest items from various genres were on display.

The Production Works Gallery, which introduces the production system of anime, had "The Sounds of Anime" as its emphasis this year. Focusing on "Mobile Suit Gundam NT", the music, sound effects, and voice recordings as an essential part of the animation process for "sound" was exhibited with staff and cast interviews as well. Also, there was a voice guide and theater room as well in which the voice actor for Jona Basta, Junya Enoki, narrated. You could experience the audio world of "Gundam NT" fully.
