An interview with the producer of the Sega Saturn edition of Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: THE BLUE DESTINY has been revealed!
ROBOT SPIRITS Efreet Custom ver. A.N.I.M.E. will be released in December 2023, and ROBOT SPIRITS Blue Destiny Unit 1 ver. A.N.I.M.E. will be released in January 2024. They are both based on the units from Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: THE BLUE DESTINY.
To celebrate the release of these items, a special interview with producer Hirofumi Inagaki and director Masahiko Tokushima, who were involved in the development of the Sega Saturn version of Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: THE BLUE DESTINY, has been revealed, so be sure to check it out.

The Efreet Custom clad in red shoulder armor that incorporates the EXAM System, a system that brings punishment Newtypes, joins the ver. A.N.I.M.E. lineup.
Its proportions are based on setting illustrations, and the rotating mechanism in the abdomen enables dynamic twisting movements in the upper body. Two Heat Sabers are included that can be equipped to the waist or back using joint parts.
Two types of vernier effects made with two different colors: one type for the normal state and another for the EXAM activation state are included, enabling expressions matching the Mobile Suit’s state. Effect parts for the mono-eye and back are also included to express the EXAM activation state.

Blue Destiny Unit 1 is an experimental Mobile Suit developed by Dr. Chlust Moses, the creator of the EXAM system who defected to the Earth Federation Forces, and is now joining the ver. A.N.I.M.E. linuep.
Its proportions are based on setting illustrations, and the knee mechanism has been examined to enable smooth movements when kneeling. The Beam Saber handles stored in the legs can be taken out by opening the armor parts.
It comes with a 100mm Machine Gun and Bullpup Machine Gun that can be equipped to the back with mounting parts, a Short Shield, and effect parts to recreate the launched state of the wire-guided chest missiles.
