The DX Chogokin RX-78F00 GUNDAM goes on sale tomorrow on Saturday, December 23rd for limited quantities at GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA (GFY), the facility with a life-sized Moving Gundam. It will be available for 99,000 JPY (tax incl.).
The RX-78F00 Gundam currently on display at GFY, the GUNDAM-DOCK, and the light-up and sound effects have been condensed into an action figure.
It incorporates intricate details and markings enabled by its large size (approximately 370 mm tall), and everything from the soles of the feet, which can be witnessed up-close at the actual statue, to the opening/closing cockpit, and the pilot are reproduced. Thanks to being a pre-assembled figure, it has a wide range of articulation and can reproduce iconic poses of the Moving Gundam such as the pose where it points to the sky. It also has gimmicks such as sliding thigh parts and expanding/contracting cylinders that can be seen during kneeling poses.

The internal frame that enables the performances of the actual Moving Gundam has been converted into action figure form. The joints are made using die-cast Chogokin frames. The exterior parts can be attached or removed, allowing you to enjoy the internal frame, and the removed exterior parts can be mounted onto the GUNDAM-DOCK. The pedestal is approximately 470mm tall and resembles the GUNDAM-DOCK where the Moving Gundam is stored, and the GUNDAM-CARRIER has also been recreated.
LEDs are implemented into the main camera on the head, eyes, shoulders, knees, chest, and cockpit, and the pedestal is equipped with spotlight-like LEDs. It also has a built-in audio gimmick that plays effects from the Activation Experiment performance and includes the audio track of "Beyond the Time ~Möbius no Sora wo Koete~" by LUNA SEA. The light and sound effects are about 10 minutes long and will evoke memories and emotions of GFY.
