A Gundam Equipped with the G.L.R.S.S. Feather Unit, Haros with New Design, and Much More! New Information About the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION’s Videos, Uniforms, and Merchandise!

More new information about the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION, a private Bandai Namco Holdings pavilion at 2025 World Expo, Japan (Osaka-Kansai Expo), was revealed today, on Wednesday, December 4th at Gundam Conference WINTER 2024.

GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION will feature life in space and unrealized science and technology depicted in the Gundam series as new possibilities for the future of humanity, through immersive, newly created video footage in pavilion area Phase 0 to 7.
Visitors will experience a journey beginning at the "Spaceport" in Yumeshima, Osaka as they travel to the Space Jaburo space station using an orbital elevator. It depicts a world where humanity and Mobile Suits coexist, and will feature a Gundam equipped with the G.L.R.S.S. Feather Unit on its back, other Mobile Suits, as well as Haros with new designs.

Furthermore, illustrations of the uniforms that the pavilion staff will wear and a perspective image of the interior of the pavilion have also been released. The uniform illustrations were drawn by Mogumo, the original character designer for Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY.

Merchandise related to the Expo such as the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION guidebook and GUNPLA such as the 1/144 RX-78F00/E Gundam (EX-001 G.L.R.S.S. Feather Unit), information on how to enter the pavilion, and details about Bandai Namco Group's Pavilion Day and the sponsoring companies have also been revealed.

*Mobile Suits are weapons with humanoid designs that appear in the Gundam series. They will take on new roles as beings that coexist with humanity at the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION.
*The life-sized Gundam statue installed in the pavilion will not be equipped with the G.L.R.S.S. Feather Unit.

Pavilion staff uniform

The uniforms were designed based on the concept of crew members accompanying visitors on their journeys to space in a future where space travel has become a ubiquitous means of transportation. The illustration was created by Mogumo, the original character designer for Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY, and was inspired by actual costumes.

*They have unisex designs, and long and short-sleeved versions exist.

How to Enter the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION

To enter the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION, you will need to purchase and reserve an admission ticket for the Osaka-Kansai Expo and also apply for a Pavilion Reservation (lottery). Pavilion Reservation lotteries are scheduled to begin on Monday, January 13, 2025. Details on how to make a reservation will be announced on the EXPO2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo Official Website at a later date.

"Pavilion Day" is an event held by private pavilion exhibitors.

The Bandai Namco Group's "Pavilion Day" will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025. A Gundam event is scheduled to be held at the Shine Hut EXPO Hall in the Osaka Kansai Expo, so stay tuned for more updates.
