Tomica x Mobile Suit Gundam Collab to be Sold in 2023! The Dream Together Collaboration Between BANDAI SPIRITS and Takara Tomy Begins!
Will be displayed at the Tomica Shop Tokyo and elsewhere starting late July!
Dream Together - Connecting Desires, Creating Dreams -, the first collaborative project between BANDAI SPIRITS and Takara Tomy has been set in motion. A Tomica x Mobile Suit Gundam product combining the Tomica die-cast mini-car series that started in 1970 and Mobile Suit Gundam, an anime series that has reached its 40th anniversary, will be produced.
Dream Together will be a concentration of the strengths that each company has worked hard on through friendly rivalry. Both companies will combine their brands and content that has been loved for over 30 years to produce collaboration products and events, original promotional videos, and more to create new appeal for both companies that has never been seen before.

The products from the Tomica x Mobile Suit Gundam collaboration is scheduled to be sold in 2023. In late July 2022, the product will be displayed at a planned event at the TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO in Akihabara, Tokyo, as well as in the Tomica Shop Tokyo. Various Tomica products will also be available for sale.
Another collaboration product that will be available is the collaboration between the die-cast Chogokin toy series (started in 1974 by BANDAI SPIRITS) and ZOIDS (a Takara Tomy series started in 1983) that uses dinosaurs and animals as motifs for real moving kits to create a 3D Chogokin x ZOIDS product.

This product has kept the size and stability that Tomica has prized all these years while reproducing the setting drawings for Mobile Suit Gundam as closely as possible. The White Base is recreated in the Tomica size, so there are more parts than regular Tomica products in order to keep the ship’s unique details.

LIGER ZERO from ZOIDS has become realized in the Chogokin universe!
LIGER ZERO is a representative of the second ZOIDS series from 1999-2006, and now it’s been made into an action figure using an approach that can only be made by Chogokin! This model was made by researching animal skeletons in the hopes of realizing the concept of biomechanical lifeforms that is ZOIDS’ origin. This figure features a collection of technology that BANDAI SPIRITS has cultivated and patented in Japan, such as in the structure of the legs, in order to recreate the movements of a beast.
