THE GUNDAM BASE stores are official general GUNPLA facilities, and THE GUNDAM BASE ANNEX in NEW CHITOSE AIRPORT will open on the 4th floor of the domestic flights terminal building at New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido on Saturday, March 29th. It is free to enter.
THE GUNDAM BASE ANNEX in NEW CHITOSE AIRPORT is an official Gundam goods facility that offers a wide variety of Gundam merchandise such as GUNPLA, apparel, stationery, miscellaneous items, sweets, and more. It aims to become a store that not only functions as a souvenir store for domestic and international tourists who use New Chitose Airport, but also as a hot spot for Gundam fans residing in surrounding areas.
THE GUNDAM BASE ANNEX in NEW CHITOSE AIRPORT is an official Gundam goods facility that offers a wide variety of Gundam merchandise such as GUNPLA, apparel, stationery, miscellaneous items, sweets, and more. It aims to become a store that not only functions as a souvenir store for domestic and international tourists who use New Chitose Airport, but also as a hot spot for Gundam fans residing in surrounding areas.
A 1/10 scale RX-78-02 Gundam (THE ORIGIN Ver.) statue will be on display in the domestic flight-side aisle, videos will be shown on multi-panel monitors, and the hanging walls within the store will have designs featuring artwork from the RG GUNPLA packages.
The international flight-side wall will have a photo spot with designs that change periodically, providing special experiences aside from shopping. The photo spot at the time of the grand opening will feature the "Last Shooting" scene from episode 43 (the final episode) of Mobile Suit Gundam, and you can take photos with Gundam or enjoy poses as the Gundam itself.
The GUNPLA point and GUNPLA point prize exchange services for THE GUNDAM BASE MEMBERS will also be implemented.

Furthermore, if you spend more than 5,000 JPY (tax included), you will receive an original New Chitose Airport sticker as part of the grand opening campaign. They will be available on a first-come, first-served basis (limited to the first 1,000 customers, since the name “Chitose/千歳” includes the Chinese character for 1000).

What are THE GUNDAM BASE stores?
THE GUNDAM BASE stores are official GUNPLA stores that opened in 2003 in South Korea, in 2005 in Taiwan, in 2017 in Tokyo, in 2018 in Shanghai, and in 2021 in Thailand with the aim of spreading GUNPLA to fans all over the world. There are currently two stores in Japan and 15 stores overseas.
THE GUNDAM BASE SATELLITE stores are medium-sized facilities, and there are four in Japan and three overseas. THE GUNDAM BASE ANNEX are stores that mainly sell Gundam-related souvenirs, and there are two in Japan: a Tokyo store and the New Chitose Airport store opening in March 2025. There are currently a total of 26 stores operating worldwide.
