During the BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division’s online event, HOBBY NEXT PHASE 2022 SPRING, on March 16 (Wednesday), it was decided that the HG Shenlong Gundam will be released in September 2022. It will cost 1,650 yen (tax incl.).
From Mobile Suit Gundam W comes the Shenlong Gundam joining the HG series for the first time ever. It can actualize action poses overflowing with realism because of the moveable gimmicks in every part of it. Within the chest block, axes have been installed, making it possible for the torso to move front and back, and sideways. When moving the torso front and back, the cockpit block will also move up and down. Additionally, the range of motion of the shoulder joints has been expanded with sliding mechanisms, making it now capable of performing actions with the Beam Glaive.
Plus, the Dragon Fang’s deployment and retraction actions can be recreated, and its gimmicks will be just like that of its onscreen counterpart. Because of the movable axes that have been installed at the joints, its arm can be deployed and retracted into the shoulders, and by attaching the included extension parts to the two joints, a further extended state can be reproduced.
