From the “Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN MSD Cucuruz Doan’s Island” manga featured in the monthly Gundam Ace, we are told the project for a “HG 1/144 Gundam Local Type (North American Front)” is settled. The sales will start from October, for 2160 yen (taxes included).
The manga of “Cucuruz Doan’s Island” is a side story based on the world of “Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN”, featuring a mechanical investigation plan, the“MSD (Mobile Suit Discovery)”. The first volume of the comic is currently selling well.
This time, the black Local Type Gundam in the serie, the “HG 1/144 Gundam Local Type (North American Front)” gets a kit version!
The kit includes changes in colours from the “HG 1/144 Gundam Local Type” and the addition of new, impressive shoulder cannons just like in the comics. It comes with a joint part that can act as a suspension for the MS machinegun and shield, just like a newly built randsel. Also, the model has a peculiar red line marking on its whole body, which can recreate a new design decal.
The figurine will be on sale from October, but in the meantime, read the on-going manga and let your imagination grow wild!
