It has been decided that a new SD Gunpla series “SD Gundam Cross Silhouette” will be released in June by the Bandai Hobby Operations Department.

“SD Gundam Cross Silhouette” is a new SD Gundam Gunpla series through which you can create ideal proportions by combining two types of frames and armors for even freer styling. Two forms – a tall or short body – can be recreated thanks to the “Super Deformed (SD) Frame” and “Cross Silhouette (CS) Frame”. You can also create your own preferred proportions by combining both frames.
Furthermore, the head is created to be highly detailed and easy to assemble through color coding unique to the SD series. The models can also be built with or without eyes using changeable parts.

For its first installment, “RX-78-2 Gundam” and “Crossbone Gundam X1” will come with SD frames while “Nightingale” will release for the first time as a SD plastic model. Furthermore, a “RX-78-2 Gundam Cross Silhouette Frame Set”, which will include both SD and CS Frames as well as the GM Head, and the option parts series “Cross Silhouette Frame [White]” will release in June.
