THE GUNDAM BASE SHANGHAI, the first flagship shop based on GUNPLA（GUNDAM Plastic Model）in mainland China, will open on August 25 (Saturday) at the commercial facility "Super Brand Mall" 5F in the Lujiazui new area of Pudong Shanghai.

GUNPLA has been sold more than 484 million units in total in the past 38 years since the release in July 1980, and become the biggest hit series in the history of plastic model. As the official shop of GUNPLA, the GUNDAM BASE opened in Korea in 2003, Taiwan in 2005 and Tokyo in August 2017. At present, there are total 12 branches all over the world.

This time, THE GUNDAM BASE SHANGHAI will be opened in the Lujiazui area of Pudong Shanghai where there are many tourists, so the various information and experiences of GUNPLA will be provided to the people of all over China.
