In the "MSD (Mobile Suit Discovery)" mechanical study plans of the world of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN", the official site was updated June 10, 2019 (Mon), and "Zaku Cannon" appears in the development history and mechanical pages.

MS-06K Zaku Cannon

The MS-06K Zaku Cannon is based off the MS-06 and is a prototype with focus on intermediate range support. The backpack carries a 180mm cannon (or a Gatling gun), and is equipped with a dual barrel smoke discharger. At the bottom of the pack is the dual barrel missile pod "Big Gun". Using knowledge from the MS-07 Gouf for the legs, it is equipped with auxiliary verniers. The initial production is said to have been limited to 9 units, and besides sandy brown, dark green units have also been sighted. Those with a pair of antennas on their head have been come to be called "Rabbit Type".
