The Life-sized Gundam Statue Will Be Displayed for the First Time in the Kansai Area at GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION at the Kansai Expo in Osaka!

The Life-sized Gundam Statue will be displayed at GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION, a private pavilion exhibited by Bandai Namco Holdings at the 2025 World Expo in Japan, also known as the Kansai Expo in Osaka.

This life-sized Gundam statue, the first of its kind in the Kansai area, reuses materials from the moving life-sized Gundam at GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA, which was open in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture from December 2020 to March 2024. This still statue stands about 17 meters tall, with one knee raised and arms raised high, giving the impression that it is reaching out toward space and the future.

Additionally, teaser visuals, a teaser video, a 1/100 scale diorama, and new images of the exterior design for GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION have arrived.
The exterior design of the pavilion is based on the image of a space airport of the future, expressing a worldview in which humanity has extended its living quarters into space.
The building is scheduled to be completed in July, and the pavilion will have exhibits that allow visitors to experience the world of the Gundam series. The interior and other details will be announced at a later date, so please look forward to further updates.

Recruitment for staff members who will help create the experiences provided by GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION will begin on Wednesday, June 26th.
