JR Central 'Oshi Tabi' x Gundam Series ~Journey with Gundam~ Collaboration Project Begins on March 26th! A Special Radio Series and Collaborative Merch Go on Sale!

The JR Central 'Oshi Tabi' x Gundam Series ~Journey with Gundam~ collaboration project will begin on Wednesday, March 26th.

The Gundam series is celebrating its 45th anniversary and is now collaborating with the Tokaido Shinkansen, which began services 60 years ago. During the event, many Gundam events will be held around the city of Osaka in 2025, and this Gundam series-themed project will be carried out across the span of about five months.
This project focuses on three titles: Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM, and Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX. The featured titles will change every month and a half, and you can enjoy original illustrations related to the Tokaido Shinkansen, special radio programs that can only be heard on the Tokaido Shinkansen, the release of collaborative items, and other experiences that can only be experienced throughout this route.

■Radio programs exclusive to Tokaido Shinkansen trains!
When boarding the Tokaido Shinkansen and accessing the dedicated website, you can enjoy special radio programs recorded for this project featuring cast members from the series. You can play one program for each section between Tokyo Station and Nagoya Station and between Nagoya Station and Shin-Osaka Station (a total of six programs for the entire period) during the event period.
*You must create an online account. Registrations are free of charge.
*After boarding the Tokaido Shinkansen (between Tokyo Station and Shin-Osaka Station), the programs can be played back once a certain speed is detected using location information measurements of your device.
*There are certain sections where the playback feature cannot be used (such as routes between Tokyo Station and Shin-Yokohama Station). The function may also be unavailable immediately after departures or before arrivals.
*The programs can be enjoyed on your own communication devices, such as your smartphone.

■Limited gifts are available when riding the Tokaido Shinkansen!
If you listen to the special radio programs on board the Tokaido Shinkansen, you can receive up to three special benefits.

① Clear file folders featuring original illustrations will be handed out at Animate Umeda and Nagoya.

② If you access the dedicated website at Shin-Osaka Station or Nagoya Station and submit your location information, you will receive a smartphone wallpaper that is only available at each station.
