The GUNDAM Project is a crossover project involving the whole group and presided by the Chief Gundam Officer (CGO), aimed at building a company structure that can effectively propose and operate strategies related to GUNDAM.
In the future, with the GUNDAM Project at its core, it plans to raise the worth of the Mobile Suit GUNDAM franchise and make it a world-class franchise by strengthening the cooperation with projects outside of the group and implementing innovation of resources within the group, while strengthening the GUNDAM-related group operations.
We have received a comment about the launch of the project from Koji Fujiwara, the CGO. Here it is.

CGO Koji Fujiwara’s comment about the launch of the GUNDAM Project
First off, GUNDAM was able to celebrate its fortieth anniversary of the first airing of the TV anime in 1979, and it was able to turn into a work that’s well-loved not only within Japan but also by many people all over the world. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the GUNDAM fans around the world who made it possible.
I strongly feel that GUNDAM does not merely consist of the fiction works and of the products that the BANDAI NAMCO Group produces, and it has not been supported by us alone, but also by the feelings and strength of all the many people who love GUNDAM, as exemplified by GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA’s moving GUNDAM.
On this occasion, we have launched the GUNDAM Project in order to raise the worth of the Mobile Suit GUNDAM franchise and make it a world-class franchise, but I think that growing alongside its fans is what GUNDAM as a character should aim for.
We are earnestly thinking about what we can do within the GUNDAM Project together with the fans.
I would be delighted to walk alongside you toward the forty-fifth anniversary of GUNDAM and GUNPLA and toward an even farther future.
