GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA Will Hold Online Tours! Specialists in Design and Motion Will Appear!

Online tours of GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA where you’ll be able to see how the Moving Gundam works behind the scenes will be held.

During these tours, a live camera will be able to enter the GUNDAM-DOCK, an area that is usually off-limits to everyone but maintenance staff, accompanied by guests explaining everything. Participants of the tour can ask the guests questions in real-time using the chat function, allowing for conversation.

The guests are Akinori Ishii, the technical director who became known for his easy-to-understand explanations during the pre-open event Online Backyard Tour Mission 0; Masaki Kawahara, the creative director who was in charge of the Moving Gundam’s design; and Wataru Yoshizaki, the system director in charge of motion. Each of the guests will speak about their specialty and reveal some never-before-told stories about what goes on behind the scenes.

Mr. Ishii and Mr.Kawahara will appear in Mission A this Saturday, July 17nd, at 8:00 PM, where they will focus on the Moving Gundam’s design and construction.
Mr. Kawahara will also appear in Mission B on Saturday, July 31st at 8:00 PM, which will focus on the Moving Gundam’s design.

Tickets are currently selling well, and are priced at 2,200 yen (incl. tax) per session. There will also be an archive for later streaming, so you can watch the sessions as much as you’d like during the period it’s available.

Also, there are other sessions planned past Mission C such as the Mission DAY, when you’ll be able to enjoy the usual show over a live stream, and the Live Chat Tour, where you’ll be able to ask guests questions after watching a video of a previous tour.
