The Life-size vGundam Statue Will Be Displayed at Lalaport Fukuoka Starting April 25th! It Will Have Moving Gimmicks and New Special Videos Projected on a Wall!

Bandai Namco Group’s integrated project, Gundam Project, will reveal a Life-size vGundam Statue (RX-93ff vGundam), the tallest of all the life-sized Gundams yet, on Monday, April 25th, along with the opening of Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport Fukuoka.
The Life-size vGundam statue recreates the impressive scene from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack when it presses back against the Axis asteroid, so it’s outfitted with lights in 62 places and has gimmicks to move its right arm up and down as well as its face.
Also, to have audiences enjoy the world of Gundam even further, two new videos were produced to project on the Lalaport Fukuoka wall next to the Life-size vGundam Statue. At night, the videos will be screened as the statue uses its gimmicks and lights for a special collaborative show.

On the same day, Gundam Park Fukuoka, a Gundam entertainment complex inside Lalaport Fukuoka, will open. This will be a complex where you can fully enjoy the universe of the Mobile Suit Gundam series.
This complex is made up of three areas, with GUNDAM SIDE-F, the area that offers various kinds of Gundam information and merchandise, as the main area. There is also the VS PARK WITH G sports entertainment area where you can enjoy all kinds of activities that were designed in collaboration with the Gundam universe and the namco amusement area, an arcade and crane game area.

The Mobile Suits that appear differ by time, so you can not only enjoy various versions of the video but also immerse yourself in the Gundam universe thanks to the carefully created audio.

The RX-93ff vGundam is being made by the colored movable figure brand ROBOT SPIRITS as well as the die cast toy series Chogokin.
ROBOT SPIRITS is a robot figure brand that uses its years of technology and its love of robots to create items for adults. The figure is already colored and assembled, so you can play with it the moment you take it out of the package. Some of the gimmicks include the new Long Range Fan Funnel that can be attached to its backpack or arm as well as other gimmicks that allow a wide range of movement for different poses.
Chogokin uses composite materials including die casting to recreate its appearance and includes lots of gimmicks appropriate for the character. This RX-93ff vGundam has the weight and texture of real metal that you can only get from Chogokin, and the light gimmick in the head recreates that of the RX-93ff vGundam.
