GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA Reopens on Saturday, July 16th!

The 1/144 RX-78F00 HMT Gundam High Mobility Type GUNPLA will also be available!

GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA (GFY), a facility where visitors can experience the dream project to create a moving full-scale 18 meter tall Gundam, will reopen on Saturday, July 16th.

After the reopening, the special F00 / AI Awakening! performance will continue, the new 1/144 RX-78F00 HMT Gundam High Mobility Type GUNPLA will be sold, the Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY PROLOGUE featuring events before the anime series will be screened, and a special paper fan will be given out to visitors.

A joint project with GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE will be held to celebrate the broadcast of the latest Gundam TV anime series Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY.

The moving Gundam’s special F00 / AI Awakening! the presentation continues!

The special F00 /AI Awakening! performance features an episode during an experiment with the RX-78F00 HMT, a unit created by adding high mobility abilities and enhanced armaments to the moving Gundam. It will be performed alongside the normal activation sequence after the reopening.
The “HMT" in RX-78F00 HMT is an abbreviation of HIGH MOBILITY TYPE, indicating that the Gundam was equipped with additional simple armor parts, auxiliary verniers, and armaments*.
More new performances for the moving Gundam are also being planned.
*These are settings within the story of the facility and the HMT armament are not attached to the actual 18 meter tall moving Gundam.

The Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY PROLOGUE featuring events prior to the latest Gundam TV anime series will be screened at the Conference Room from Saturday, July 16th to Sunday, July 31st.
The screening schedule will be announced at a later date on the GFY official website.
*Screening events are free of charge, but a separate admission fee is required to enter GFY.
*The number of visitors is limited per screening. We may refuse to distribute numbered tickets or entry depending on the number of visitors.

Special paper fans to celebrate the reopening will be given out from Saturday, July 16th!
