Special Decorations and an Exclusive Video for the Collaboration Between the Life-size vGundam Statue and Fukuoka Softbank Hawks “Taka no Saiten 2022” Will Start on July 1st!

The life-size statue of the vGundam (RX-93ff vGundam) located at Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport Fukuoka will collaborate with Taka no Saiten 2022, the biggest fan event of Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, with special decorations and an exclusive video that will be unveiled on Friday, July 1st.

This collaboration sees the Life-Size vGundam Statue embellished with Taka no Saiten 2022 decorations, as well as an exclusive Taka no Saiten 2022 video narrated by Mr. Toru Furuya, who voices Amuro Ray in Mobile Suit Gundam, projected on the walls of Lalaport Fukuoka. Additionally, the 1/12 scale statues of vGundam and Sazabi exhibited at GUNDAM SIDE-F, on the fourth floor of Lalaport Fukuoka, will also be decorated with Taka no Saiten 2022 motifs.
There’s more. Mr. Furuya will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks VS. Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters match held on Saturday, July 9th at Fukuoka PayPay Dome, reproducing the line “Amuro! Taking off to Taka no Saiten!” that he recites in the Taka no Saiten 2022 Exclusive Video.


This is the first time that a life-sized Gundam statue collaborates with one of the twelve main baseball teams, so make sure you check it out!
