GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA and Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island Collaboration Project Starting Today!

A collaboration project with Mobile Suit Gundam Cucuruz Doan's Island started today, Saturday, November 12th, at GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA (GFY), the facility that made the dream of a moving 18-meter-tall life-sized Gundam come true.

This project is being held to celebrate the release of Cucuruz Doan's Island on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on Friday, November 25th. During the event period, a limited number of illustration cards that use collab. illustrations will be passed out to those who attend.
Also, in the conference room, there will be a screening of the beginning of Cucuruz Doan's Island and a video commentary by Toru Furuya, who voices Amuro Ray, as well as an exhibit with 13 character panels and reproductions of original drawings. Latte art with three designs—Amuro, the RX-78-02 Gundam, and Doan’s Zaku—will be sold at GUNDAM Café YOKOHAMA Satellite.

Furthermore, “Yorunoyo,” an art illumination being held in Yokohama’s coastal area, and “Night Viewing,” a light and music performance being held all over the city, will also start on Thursday, November 24th, so be sure to check them out.

“The Blessing” by YOASOBI, the opening theme for Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY, will be used to liven up the special winter performance. You’ll also be able to see a new pose related to THE WITCH FROM MERCURY along with a unique winter performance that makes use of numerous lights and lasers.

During the event period, the GUNDAM-DOCK that stores the Moving Gundam will be linked with the “Yorunoyo” illumination.
Furthermore, the deck on the 2nd floor of the facility's GUNDAM-LAB (on the Osanbashi side) is a great view point where you can enjoy "Night Viewing.” Experience the life-sized Moving Gundam that can only be seen at this time.
