BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., will open the first Kyushu area "gunpla"-focused flagship shop "THE GUNDAM BASE FUKUOKA" and the Gundam official cafe "GUNDAM Cafe Fukuoka" on November 30, 2019 (Sat) in South Building 1F, Canal City, Hakata.

"THE GUNDAM BASE" aims to expand "gunpla" for gunpla fans around the world. As the official shop for "gunpla", 15 stores are currently operated worldwide, with Korea in 2003, Taiwan in 2005, Tokyo in 2017, and Shanghai in 2018.

This time, following "THE GUNDAM BASE TOKYO" in Odaiba, Tokyo, the second domestic store "THE GUNDAM BASE FUKUOKA" will open November 30, 2019 (Sat) in Canal City, Hakata.

Regarding the new store opening in Fukuoka, called the Gateway to Asia, it aims to increase sales and dissemination of information not just to the Kyushu area but worldwide as well. Also, with a focus on products such as limited Gundam Base items, it will not only boast the largest domestic product selection in Fukuoka, but also have a workspace "Build Room" where you can assemble purchased gunpla and a latest items and professional modeler exhibition zone is being developed. The attractiveness of gunpla will be conveyed to all generations.
