English-speaking Volunteer Tourist Information Guides Introduce Gundam and the Rinkai Coastal Area!

Every weekend from October 12, 2019 through November 24, 2019!

The "TOKYO Gundam Project 2019", which aims to revitalize the coastal area and utilize the global human resources in Tokyo, is implementing the "Tourist Volunteer Guide Program" for high school students to introduce foreign tourists to the "Life-sized Unicorn Gundam Statue" and explain about "Mobile Suit Gundam", as well as explain tourist information regarding the local Rinkai area.

The objective of this program is to increase the motivation to learn for young people and create the opportunity for international cultural exchange.

This year, 108 students from 12 schools, a significant increase from last year's participants (24 students from 4 schools) are planned for September 28, 2019 (Sat) and October 5, 2019 (Sat). The high school students experienced an english-learning program at the facility "TOKYO GLOBAL GATEWAY TGG".

This time, based on their experience there, the high school students will guide people using the "Original English MAP".

The scheduled period will be from October 12, 2019 (Sat) through November 24, 2019 (Sun) every weekend (including holidays) from 13:00, in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, Festival Plaza near the Life-Size Unicorn Gundam Statue.
