The TV edition of Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative will be broadcast on MBS and 28 TBS channels across Japan starting at 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 5th.
Looking back, how did the Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative project begin, and what sort of concepts were used in its production? In commemoration of the TV edition’s broadcast, we asked Harutoshi Fukui, the series’ script writer, to talk about the behind-the-scenes during production and the reaction to the 2018 release.

The novelization of Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY which is published periodically in this magazine will soon go on sale as a physical novel.
The first volume includes episodes from the series’ PROLOGUE up to the 3rd episode of the anime, and there are original episodes that can only be read in the physical version. What was the writing process like in the pursuit of creating a novel through which readers could enjoy the anime’s worldview and essence?
We will also introduce a summary of the original episodes found in the novel and a character design for Miorine Rembran’s ex-fiancé!

・THE ORIGIN Exhibit: Yoshikazu Yasuhiko x Makoto Ishii Talk to Commemorate the Fukushima Venue Opening
The Yasuhiko Yoshikazu / Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN Exhibition will be held starting Friday, March 17th, at Toho Minna no Bunka Center in Fukushima Prefecture, a little over a year after its grand opening at Tokorozawa Sakura Town in Saitama.
Makoto Ishii, who participated as the curator of the exhibition, and Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, who was originally reluctant to plan the ORIGIN exhibition, will talk about how it was held and what things were like behind the scenes!
