Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM’s 14th Visitor Gift is an Illustration Card of the Second Key Visual! We’ve Also Received Official Reports from the Events in the United States!

The 14th visitor gift for Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM, which will be distributed at screening theaters from April 26 (Friday), has been announced to be an illustration card of the second key visual. The cards are A5 size featuring the second key visual evoking the fierce battles between Mobile Suits.
In addition to the release of eight more scenes of the fierce battles, we’ve received official reports from the two events held in the United States. Let’s take a look at them.

In just 87 days since its release, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM has attracted over 2.66 million audience, raising over 4.47 billion yen. It continues to update the No.1 box office revenue of Gundam movies.

The hype for Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM has spread overseas to many countries and regions!

In the United States, it has been announced that the movie will be screened in theaters across the country on May 7 (Tuesday) and May 8 (Wednesday), local time.
Ahead of the screening, events at Seattle and Los Angeles held between March 29 (Friday) and April 1 (Monday) welcomed Soichiro Hoshi as Kira Yamato and Rie Tanaka as Lacus Clyne.

■Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM Talk Event at Sakura-Con!

Sakura-Con, the anime convention held in Seattle, US, from March 29 (Friday) to March 31 (Sunday), held a SEED FREEDOM talk event and autograph session with Soichiro Hoshi and Rie Tanaka.
They also signed autographs on character panels and the decorations at the SEED FREEDOM booth within the venue.

It was their first visit to Seattle and when the MC asked “How’s Seattle?”, they answered:
“I’ve enjoyed delicious seafood and coffee.” (Hoshi)
“I went to a burger shop since I love meat!” (Tanaka)

Also, to the fans who are looking forward to the release of this film, they shared the following messages:
“The movie is packed with drama, making it a truly entertaining experience. For those who have watched the TV series, please look forward to how the characters play their role in the new story.” (Hoshi)
“I believe that even those who are introduced to the SEED series with FREEDOM can enjoy the movie. ■Stage Greetings at Regal LA Live in Los Angeles!

At the Regal LA Live, a movie theater in Los Angeles, US, a premiere screening was held on April 1 (Monday).
In addition to Soichiro Hoshi and Rie Tanaka, Stephanie Sheh, the producer and voice of Lacus of the English dubbed version of SEED FREEDOM, and another producer Michael Sinterniklaas made an appearance at the stage greeting.

Soichiro Hoshi and Rie Tanaka talked about the SEED series recording sessions and FREEDOM's highlights. There was even a surprise performance of Lacus’s memorable line, “You don’t love people only because they’re needed. You need them because you love them!” in both Japanese and English by Rie Tanaka and Stephanie Sheh!

Also, Soichiro Hoshi said “FREEDOM wo mite ‘Kira’ wo ‘Kira’wanaide hoshii desu,” (Don’t hate on Kira after watching FREEDOM), a pun playing on Kira’s name and the word “kirawanaide” which means “don’t hate/dislike” to liven up the venue for the premiere screening.

SEED FREEDOM is planned to be screened in other countries outside of the US!
