The latest Universal Century Gundam series film Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway will be released on Friday, May 7, 2021, and a new visual has been revealed.
The Xi Gundam used by the protagonist Hathaway Noa (Mafty Navue Erin) was finally unveiled in this new visual.
It depicts the white Xi Gundam descending from the dawn sky with its arms spread out, resembling the appearance of Gundam of the past, while embodying Hathaway’s significant determination and foreshadowing the intense battles that await him.
A new teaser and setting illustrations for the Xi Gundam and Messer Type-F02 have been revealed.

A new teaser has been released!
The teaser features the Xi Gundam and a scene where it clashes with the Earth Federation Forces‘ Penelope, piloted by Lane Aime. Please look forward to how the Gundams will be depicted in the movie.
The setting illustrations for the Xi Gundam and Messer Type-F02 have been revealed!
■Xi Gundam
A fifth-generation Mobile Suit developed by Anaheim Electronics was prepared for Mafty in order to raid the Adelaide Conference. It is a sibling unit to the Penelope but incorporates even more advanced technology due to its built-in Minovsky Flight Unit. Its total height surpasses 26 meters and its arms are especially more massive when compared to standard Mobile Suits, resulting in a monstrous silhouette despite being named a Gundam.
■Messer Type-F02
A Messer Type-F01 equipped with Lifting Flares. It can hover on land for a longer period of time.
The HG Xi Gundam kit has already been revealed! It releases in April 2021!
The Xi Gundam will be released in April 2021 as an HG series GUNPLA kit.
An HG Xi Gundam VS Penelope Funnel Effect Set, which includes the HG Xi Gundam, the HG Penelope (a popular kit that has already been released), and effect parts to recreate the deployment of funnels will also be released at the same time.
