A Special Stage Event Ahead of the Broadcast of Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY Will Be Held on September 17th at the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2022!

The Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair (KYOMAF) 2022 will be held on Saturday, September 17th, and Sunday, September 18th, mainly at Kyoto’s Miyako Messe. A special stage event ahead of the broadcast of Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY will be held there.

Mobile Suit Gundam THE WITCH FROM MERCURY is a new TV anime series from the Gundam universe that will go on air starting in October. Ms. Kana Ichinose, who voices the main character Suletta Mercury, and Ms. Lynn, who voices Miorine Rembran, will reveal exclusive episodes and deliver the latest information.

KYOMAF 2022 is an event that sees sixty-four companies and groups participating between publishing companies, anime production studies, filmmakers, broadcasting channels, educational institutions, and more. The event program is held on two stages, the KYOMAF Stage and the Miyako Messe Stage.
It aims to strengthen the brand of Kyoto as a city of entertainment content by supporting the creation of new projects centered around manga, anime, and games, backing creators’ education and creating chances for employment, uncovering fresh, younger tourism bases, and spreading manga, anime, and games as examples of Japanese culture from Kyoto to the world.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting today, Wednesday, July 20th, including an Okoshiyasu (meaning “welcome” in Kyoto dialect) Ticket that comes with amazing bonuses. Only those who purchase their ticket by Thursday, August 25th, will be able to apply to be in the audience of the onstage events, so make sure to check them out.
