Bandai Namco premieres the series Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury through TV Azteca.
The series launch will be accompanied by an exclusive line of official Gundam products arriving for the first time to Mexico in the spring of 2024.
Mexico City, 12 of January 2024 - As announced during November at the first Bandai Namco Summit, there will be a collaboration with TV Azteca to bring one of the most anticipated and successful series worldwide to Mexico. It is the iconic Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, titled "The Witch from Mercury," which will make its debut on the national screen through Azteca 7 on February 16th at 3 pm.
Gundam series, being the most iconic Franchise Brand of Bandai Namco Group, finds a new home in Mexico through the strategic alliance with TV Azteca. "We are very excited to present this series in the country, as we know there are many fans who have been waiting for this moment. In recent years, the audience for anime and especially Gundam has grown significantly in the local market," commented César Muratalla, Marketing Director of Bandai Namco Mexico.
Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury is the latest installment in the iconic Gundam franchise. An era when a multitude of corporations have entered space and built a huge economic system. A lone girl from the remote planet Mercury transfers to the Asticassia School of Technology, run by the Benerit Group which dominates the mobile suit industry. Her name is Suletta Mercury. With stunning animation, intriguing character development, epic battles, and new Mobile Suits the series will keep captivating all viewers.
